Who provides Pyroom

Pyroom (pyroom.app, play.pyroom.app, and related pages) is provided by Mykhailo Smaha, an individual developer in Ukraine ("we"). Contact: [email protected].

Who can use Pyroom

Anyone may use the Playground. Students use the Google Classroom integration through their school's Google Classroom, under the school's authorization and rules; teachers and schools are responsible for using it in line with their own policies. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, use Pyroom only with your school's or a parent's permission.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

  • break the law, or share content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights;
  • attack, overload, scan, or try to get around the security or limits of Pyroom;
  • use shared links or bug reports to spread spam, malware, or other people's personal data;
  • use Pyroom to access other people's Google data without their permission.

Code you run in the Playground runs in your own browser, and you are responsible for it.

Your content

You keep all rights to the code, files, and work you create in Pyroom. Teachers and schools keep the rights to the assignments they publish. You give us only the permission needed to store, transfer, and show your content as you ask — for example to open a shared link, deliver an assignment to students, or save a checkpoint to your Drive — and only for as long as needed.

Shared projects can be opened by anyone with the link. Pyroom's own software, design, and examples remain ours or our licensors'.

Google services

The Classroom integration uses Google Classroom and Google Drive, which are provided by Google under Google's own terms and your school's agreement with Google. Pyroom is not made or endorsed by Google. You can stop Pyroom's access at any time; see the privacy policy.

No warranty and liability

Pyroom is free and provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose, and features may change. Keep your own copies of work that matters.

To the extent the law of Ukraine allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, grades, or work. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Ending access

You can stop using Pyroom at any time, and disconnect Google with Disconnect on the Classroom page. We may limit or block access that breaks these terms or threatens Pyroom or its users, and we may stop offering a feature; where we reasonably can, we will give notice so you can save your work.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version. For important changes we will give notice on the website before they apply. If you keep using Pyroom after that, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If a dispute cannot be solved by writing to us, it will be decided by the competent courts of Ukraine, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your local courts.
